Hi Paul!:
How are you? How is your training going? And – more importantly – how is the Saxophone practice?
I did the Reykjavik Marathon yesterday, and I got 4:19:25! I’m so happy, I’d never have imagined to be that fast, and it felt really easy, too, I didn’t hit “the wall” or anything. So thank you so much for your training plan, I followed it almost perfectly and I think that’s why I was in such good shape!
Best wishes,
Julia

Hey Paul
It was a great Marathon run and I was ready for it – thanks to a great coach I have!!!
You and Amanda were there with me on my last mile – it was my fastest of the race 🙂
Thanks for the help – onwards and upwards.

Whatever you’re looking for in your running holiday, I cannot recommend Run in the sun enough. As a beginner I’ve always been slightly daunted by running breaks as they would seem to be only for the very serious runner, but Paul and Amanda cater perfectly for the newbie, with respect and no shaming. As their consideration is for individual requirements you don’t have to worry about keeping up with the more experienced, faster runners, which was a big relief for me. Those guys head out on different runs! I enjoyed the beautiful runs I did so much that I went further than I would have ordinarily and got to experience trail running, something that I’m too daunted to try on my own.
What really sets the holiday apart is that Paul and Amanda seem to really enjoy people, which is such a great quality in hosts! They are dedicated not just to helping you push yourself but also to making sure you have a great time. I felt like I was laughing for the entire stay!
I cannot imagine anyone coming away from this break without very positive things to say.
